RECALLS GLOSSARY OF TERMS

RECALLS

Clorox Mistolin and Lestoil

  • Certain Clorox Mistolin and Lestoil cleaning products sold in Puerto Rico have been recalled due to safety concerns. Shoppers are urged to stop using affected bottles immediately, check lot codes against the official recall notice, and follow instructions for refunds or safe disposal. If you’ve used these products and feel unwell, contact a healthcare provider and report symptoms to your local health authority.

  • Publix GreenWise Frozen Blueberries and Mixed Berries

Select bags of Publix GreenWise Frozen Blueberries and Mixed Berries have been recalled during an ongoing E. coli outbreak. These berries may be contaminated and should not be eaten. Check your freezer for affected UPCs and best-by dates, discard recalled bags, and contact Publix for a refund. If you’ve eaten these berries and develop stomach cramps, diarrhea, or fever, seek medical care right away.

  • Whole Foods Products – Jalapeño Salmonella Outbreak

Whole Foods has recalled certain salsas, guacamole, and prepared foods made with jalapeños linked to a Salmonella outbreak. These ready-to-eat items may pose a higher risk for young children, pregnant people, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems. Do not eat any recalled products—throw them away or return them to the store. Watch for symptoms like fever, diarrhea, and stomach cramps, and contact a doctor if they appear.

  • Marketside Tomato Bisque Soup Kit – Listeria Concern

Marketside Tomato Bisque Soup Kits sold at select retailers have been recalled due to possible Listeria contamination. Listeria can be especially serious for pregnant people, newborns, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems. If you have this soup kit at home, do not prepare or eat it. Throw it away or return it to the store for a refund, and contact a healthcare provider if you experience fever, muscle aches, or stomach symptoms after eating it.
